Our Olia was a speaker at the Pride Fest last weekend! 🏳️‍🌈
The topics of the lectures held within the fest were highly relevant to Kharkiv residents.
The speakers discussed donations and charity, the inferiority complex because of one’s identity, lesbian experiences, propaganda, and mental health.
The goals of the fest were to raise funds for the Kharkiv and Sumy fronts, share useful skills, discuss important topics, get inspired, and bring Ukrainian victory closer. 💙💛

Olia says,

“It was so nice to see my friends, regardless of the distance and the war, to support a friendly NGO and participate in the important event.
The environment was bursting with life and acceptance. You know, this basic human need to have dinner right in the street near the entrance, crack some activist jokes, indulge in nostalgia together, lie on a sofa amidst the commotion, to enjoy the lively discussion when some topics are equally relevant to you and all the others — it’s warm and priceless. I went on a work trip as a speaker, coming into the uncertainty — instead, I came home, finding it in another city.”

We were glad to participate in the fest and are really grateful for the invitation.
