Recently, the “Body and Word” workshop took place for participants of the “Women’s Power” project, which is being implemented in cooperation between the NGO Feminist Workshop and the UNBROKEN Center.
Under the attentive and sensitive guidance of Daryna Melashenko — writer, translator, and researcher of writing as an emotional anchor — participants explored the connection between body and word, sought calm through writing, and allowed themselves to speak and feel.
Throughout the event, through various writing exercises and tasks, participants gained yet another tool to work with their emotions, anxieties, and thoughts.
Writing became a bridge to oneself — to calm, to recovery, to remembering one’s own worth.
This workshop was not only about creativity, but also about a feminist practice of self-preservation.
We thank everyone who was with us!
