The “Women’s Voices and Leadership – Ukraine” project established by the Ukrainian Women’s Fund recently held its fourth feminist forum. This meeting welcomed over 160 participants from all over Ukraine. One of them was Katya Dovbnya, coordinator of the crisis department of our organization.

Over two days she got to learn more about the initiatives honoring 140 years of the movement, discuss the feminist approach to funding, and learn about the advocacy platforms.

“I deem such events necessary, as they are the safe haven of adequacy and understanding amidst feminists’ turbulent times.

It was crucial for me to discuss the questions raised at the forum. During the events, we also talked about the feminist movement in Ukraine that has existed for 140 years! Realizing this is truly inspiring!

I am convinced that what we do today brings closer the future of our dreams,” Katya adds.
