Last Saturday, May 24, we embarked on an inspiring artistic journey — our community visited the Academy of Arts. We had the opportunity to walk its halls, peek into galleries and studios, observe the artistic process from within, talk with instructors, ask about their work, and see how creativity comes to life.
We wrapped up the tour in the textile studio, where we dove into experiments with dyes and techniques — from airbrushing to silk-screen printing, from self-made stamps to freehand brush painting on fabric. Everyone had a chance to create something of their own — on a T-shirt, tote bag, or fabric swatch. This experience was about the freedom of self-expression, mutual support, and the power of collective creation.
Events like this are not only about art, but also about a feminist community where we learn to see beauty, share inspiration and support, and explore new things together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to those who opened the doors of the Academy of Arts for us. We’ll definitely hold another workshop like this again!
