This Sunday, on December 10 we came together in the center of Lviv to draw attention to the violence against women.
Home is where your safety is? Unfortunately, that is not the case for many women. In Ukraine, appr. 1.8 million women experience domestic violence, and 600 women annually die from it.
We brought together the activists of Feminist Workshop and created a performance in the very heart of the city. We wanted to remind society, that violence is still a relevant issue. Unfortunately, lots of women feel safer in the crowd, surrounded by people, than in their own homes.
