Feminist Workshop and the charitable foundation The Right to Protection have recently organized an educational event “Services in Diia app for IDPs”.
During the event, members of the organizations spoke about the opportunities available in the e-governance app Diia for people affected by war who lost their property or homes. We learned how to generate and view the certificates and extracts from the registers, change your residence address, cancel your IDP status, and use the service “YeVidnovlennia” to get financial aid for housing.
“Workshop participants had a chance to pull out their phones and practice the newly acquired skills right away. It will free up the time they otherwise would need to spend dealing with bureaucracy. They no longer need to visit administrative service centers in person, as now they can get all these services by themselves.
Helping women to become more self-sufficient has always been one of the priorities of Feminist Workshop. That is particularly relevant for women pushed beyond the visible part of society. Thanks to our partners we created the best working space. Not only did we want our participants to gain vital knowledge: our goal was also boosting women’s self-affirmation, their confidence, and dignity,” adds Natalya, co-coordinator of the crisis department.
