The traditional poetry night at the Feminist Workshop was fascinating and warm. That day, we read and listened to different kinds of poems, sharing our feelings, love stories, and anything we deem beautiful. ✨
But this evening wasn’t just about poetry. 🤭 In the first part of our event, we had a talk with lovely Polina and Aliona. ❤️🔥
Polina Kulakova shared insights about getting your first book published, surviving criticism and keeping your confidence high, searching for a publisher and navigating pitfalls during your cooperation.
Aliona Timkova spoke about self-publishing. She explained how not to go broke while publishing your books and told us about the freedom and the challenges self-publishing brings. Her story was a useful manual for those wanting to take control of their book journey!
