Recently we held an ITOCA session. It has proved a beneficial practice: we got together in the shelter’s kitchen and spent two days identifying our strengths and weaknesses and setting up a capacity development plan. And after all of this, we are still alive! 🙂

“Truth be told, all of us expected it to be a boring waste of time, some useless spreadsheets and assessments. We mainly perceived it as a valuable opportunity to meet as a team, as we rarely come together offline.

And now I am really impressed by the list of ideas and needs I heard from my colleagues, and by the lengthy list of the plans we deemed important.

This tool has created a space for discussions about the organization, allowing us to focus on the topics we usually neglect due to the lack of time. I didn’t expect it, but I can advise the tool to the other NGOs,” adds Olia, head of the Feminist Workshop.

We are grateful to the NGO “Women’s Perspectives” for such an opportunity!
