An important part of our coordinators’ work (apart from performing their duties) is finding time for their own development and learning.

From April to May, Katya, our crisis coordinator, participated in the training session “How to Teach Adults” organized by the NGO “Center for Education”.

Here’s an overview: as part of our crisis work to assist internally displaced women and women in crisis situations, we conduct two types of training sessions:

– A digital literacy course where we teach women how to use a smartphone at a basic level.
– A course on “How to Teach Digital Literacy” for organizations that are developing digital skills within the community.

Therefore, we were happy to take the opportunity to update and deepen our team’s knowledge on organizing the educational process and creating training programs, to make our courses even more informative and engaging.

“During the training, I found out about learning cycles, how to work with group dynamics, various methods of motivating adults, etc. I also had some interesting conversations with colleagues over coffee during breaks, for which I am very grateful,” adds Katya.
