Ukrainian women’s movement has been treading the rocky road towards equality for 140 years.
Nowadays its main goals are not limited to activism and fighting for women’s rights, including, among other things, defending the country in the Russian-Ukrainian war and taking care of those affected by the war.
That’s why on Sunday, December 8 we came together to honor the accomplishments of Ukrainian feminists and raise funds for the electronic warfare measures for our friend, call sign Viking, from the fire support company .Spoiler alert: we made it! We raised 25 522 UAH and transferred it to the fundraising campaign for 56 Mariupol Brigade of 37 Batallion!
We held an auction and had plenty of thematic zones with makeup, fortune-telling, literature gossip, and painting the shell cases. We had so much fun!
We also savored the snacks prepared by the graduates of our digital literacy courses.
We are grateful to our friends for their help with organization, registrations, props, counter, bar, and photos! Real sisterhood is best manifested in solidarity!
