What do feminists do on weekends? đŸ€”
But of course, handing out leaflets!

On a more serious note, our team was actually distributing leaflets about free opportunities for elderly women. đŸ‘”
Unfortunately, plenty of old people who have gadgets don’t know how to use them or search for information online. â˜č
That’s why we decided to go out on the streets of Lviv and share the information using brochures, a format they might find convenient.
We hope it will help them to relax, find like-minded people, and spend quality time learning new skills.

Our digital literacy courses teacher Nastia who was handing out brochures says,

“At the digital literacy courses, I met women who found it hard to believe that they were capable of learning new skills. They are often afraid that starting from the first lesson, we will discuss supercomplicated matters, and once again, they will feel left out. Instead, the conversations we had when distributing leaflets were meant to reassure them, providing clear and precise answers about the learning process.

Now it is safe to say that the topics of our projects are highly relevant, as was confirmed by the future participants of the course. Some women were pleasantly surprised by the fact that someone cares about their needs and that such free services exist at all.

And don’t forget about our digital literacy course. All the details may be found on our social media.
Send the information to your moms, aunts, grannies, and everyone who may find it useful. đŸ„°

Let’s make a change together! â€ïžâ€đŸ”„â€
