Recently, we organized a special screening of Vika! — a documentary about a strong, free, and brave 80-year-old DJ.

It was more than just a viewing. We laughed, talked about age, embodiment, freedom, the lack of images of older women on screens, fears of aging, and self-acceptance. We also discussed various stereotypes about life in older age, societal and family expectations, and the topic of loneliness.

Events like these inspire, bring people closer, and empower. We thank everyone who was with us that evening. And a special thanks to Vika, whose story reminds us: it’s never too late to be yourself.

We are very grateful to KyivMusicFilm for the opportunity to hold this special screening for our community and look forward to future collaboration!
