Worshiping Lilith is a self-awareness growth group for women and non-binary people who are comfortable in spaces where the female experience is centered.
Self-awareness growth group is an old feminist practice that was widely used by feminists in the 60s. Women gathered and discussed some aspects of their lives. This is how women began to reflect on abuse, access to public space, taboos on female sexuality, etc. Realizing that the same experience is shared by many women, the participants of the self-awareness growth groups began to see patterns and systemic problems related to the position of women.
We reproduce this practice in Lviv. We get together and talk about personal things: about sex, physicality, our own experiences.
We know that the personal is political, and vice versa, so we see in our self-awareness growth group not only a support group, but also a political act of recognition of the vulnerable position of women and their unwillingness to put up with this position.
Participation by registration. The number of places in the group is limited.
